I’m writing to you with regards to a picture of the Kelantanese wayang on your blog(under Indonesian Wayang post). I’m doing a booklet for a company and find that the picture(Wayang Kulit Kelantan)fits perfectly for one of the write ups.

Those were great postcards! I especially like the photo shopping you did on the “unspeakable” parts. :)

Barrel saunas are still made, though they’re not very practical. You can only fit one bench inside, which means there’s no top “hot” bench, and no heat gradient to switch between. Plus, because of their rounded design, many people can’t even stand up straight in one! They do have a unique look, though.

I love that Haris was in the sauna. Did he enjoy?

Rraisa was wondering who the characters are (2nd postcard from bottom): one is the Fillyjonk with the bell cap (Moominsummer Madness), and I think that’s Whomper, his bride(?) looks a lot like Misabel but it can’t be her, because she’s smiling (unless it’s because she’s wearing one of the wigs from the theater). It’s probably a scene from one of the comics I haven’t read yet. The sea-monster looks vaguely familiar, though that may just be the idisynchratic Jansson snout, like on Shadow and Sniff and Fillyjonks and Gaffsies.
